Creating a piece begins with observation — colors, textures, and shapes found in nature or in art often spark the first idea.
From there, I explore through sketches, hand-painted motifs, or digital compositions, refining balance until the composition feels right.
My work is mostly created using a combination of acrylics, gouache and watercolors. I like exploring multiple surfaces and materials. I find that I make my best work when I'm at play.
